True athletes will typically have a well developed tib ant due to the constant force getting in and out of cutting movements.

isn't it because she has a short/tight achilles tendon and that's why the tibilias anterior gets overworked and grows more? what's the point of your answer? she shows hers is big and you just show a movement to train it, not why

Congrats, you’ve accidentally unlocked the Rake Muscle (Musculus rastelli).
It’s not a normal muscle. It’s the body’s emergency garden tool.
While everyone else is building calves and quads, you’ve been secretly training the thing that rakes leaves… from the inside.
That long, angry ridge running down the front of your shin?
That’s not hypertrophy.
That’s your leg saying:
“I’ve been carrying your poor ankle stability and questionable squat form all year… and I’m done being subtle about it.”
Most people never see theirs because they never stress it.
You? You’ve turned it into a visible declaration of war against shin splints and weak dorsiflexion.
So yes, it’s prominent.
Because it’s judging you.
And it’s winning.

both my tendons to those muscles had to be cut, stretched, and tied around my left foot so I could lift the foot up (got 8 staples in the two bones on that leg too)
