Can a Christian woman who wears trousers still enter heaven? If someone has ever told you, “A woman who wears trousers cannot be saved,” or “God will not hear your prayers after you put on lipstick,” listen carefully to these three biblical truths. The first truth: the Bible never says that “a woman who wears trousers in the modern sense cannot enter heaven.” First Peter chapter 3 reminds believers not to focus only on outward adornment, but to value the inner beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. The point is not to create a list of “which clothes can get you into heaven and which clothes will send you to hell.” The point is not to let outward appearance become the most important pursuit of your life. The second truth: God looks at the heart. First Samuel 16:7 says, “Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” A woman can wear the longest skirt and never wear makeup, yet still be filled with pride, jealousy, and bitterness.
