I believe Lara is just giving Mari back her space but they’ll be like ldr.. so they’ll see each other often. I know censorship is a pain though so I am very sad we didn’t get a kiss but tbh it’s canon. Nobody can tell me otherwise. i get that lara is embarking on a self discovery journey now that she’s been freed from the princess duty, but it still stings :( sure 6 months might’ve passed canonically and she prolly had conversations about it with mari, but for viewers, it came so suddenly and bittersweet :( the fact that lara brought mari back to life is the biggest act of love, so i cannot help but wish they would’ve fleshed out their relationship from that point instead of jumping straight into lara’s self discovery journey cus it feels incomplete
