Ok. So I have seen the movie and read all the books! The movie is damn close to faithful. Spoilers for the books! 😉. We don’t have Franny with Sally and Gilly, but I don’t think Stockard was up for it. We didn’t get the Aunts’ story as a TV show, so we don’t know about their brother, who is key(😉) to the plot in the book. The biggest, changes from the book: in the book, Antonia is gay and pregnant. She has the baby as the curse breaks. The other big differences: Sally sacrifices her magic to save Kylie from the Left-Handed path, and Ian’s mum gives Gillian a spell to help her finally conceive after even the Aunts failed. I won’t give away the other big difference, because that would spoil the end of the film. But it is damn close. It was an amazing movie!

I have wanted to see it before every even told was coming out. Been waiting years. Of course having struggles when it comes out and can’t afford to go to see . I am so sad I have to wait till on streaming. I want to see it in theaters

It could not have been written or performed any better. I am sad that the two original daughters weren’t there but I get what they’re doing. It was beautiful. I cried like a little bitch baby throughout that movie.

I’m so happy to hear this from you. I’ve heard negative things as well. But, I also remember that the first movie was raked through the coals by critics. I can’t wait to see it. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time. 💜💜
