It's not "that deep" until it is. Once bars have been hit with the fines, they stick with the rules. I got carded looking old and tired at the airport the other day. I looked at the man, who wqs older than I was, but he was like, "Tuh! Your ID miss?" So I get it. And an ID is no longer valid if it is expired, whether or not the info is correct. Sounds strange...but think of a credit card: number may not change, but expiration is expiration. Just like a cc can be revoked, so can a license. He might have been extra...but the ID question IS valid.

Backstage isn’t the kind of bar I like to frequent, but they have always carded me every time I’ve gone. The only person you should be upset at is your friend for not renewing their ID on time and putting you in that position.

The security guard was weird, but then also the women that you were gonna meet were weird too cause it’s like if you told them that he was being aggressive and weird then it come outside he’s also being aggressive and weird. Why would they suggest that if you apologize to let to let you in when it’s like no I would’ve left like if my girl can’t get in there I’m not staying.

ngl they were odd to me once because i took it upon myself to help some drunk white girl (ik please don’t jump me 😭) i went out for two seconds to smoke w my bf and then the bouncer wouldn’t let me back in (mind u i was damn near sober atp), but they never said anything to the white girl who was absolutely sloshed arguing with her bf 🙃🙃🙃
