food in finland is expensive cos of duopoly🥲

stevenwatson762 :

shop at Aldi

derFinne :

Price levels vary across Finland. Stockmann likely has the most expensive grocery store in the country, and I wonder who shops there and how long they can keep their prices that high...🤯

Vili :

Literally picked the most expensive supermarket😂

Mike✨🇪🇺🇫🇮✨ :

Stockmann is super expensive.

JLehtonen :

Stockmann is expensive but so are other supermarkets too. The prices have gone up as of late and keep going.

Rixraxpicspax :

Everything is ridiculously expensive here when it comes to food.

Just GenJonesing :

That particular store is quite expensive

Andrea Ahlstrom :

Herkku is definitely more expensive than the other general supermarkets in Finland, so this doesnt really give a realistic picture

Jani :

Stockmann???

Jonna 🌞 :

this is like going to a porsche store and saying that all cars in general are expensive :D

Papa Dance :

kalevinen :

what is your point here?? you go To the most expensive supermarket in Finland and what do you expect the prices be?? Of course EXPENSIVE!!

joons20000 :

I just read an article by Mancester Evening News where they compared a shopping basket price in 6 main crocery chains in the UK including, bread, minced meat, milk, butter, beans, teabags, coffee, chicken. Most expencive was Tesco, where the basket cost £13,36. They call it food price crisis due the Brexit. Out of curiosity I made my own comparison using S-market prices. The Finnish basket would cost over 30€!!! And nobody talks about crisis, demonstrations are nowhere to be seen. The food cost is absolutely crazy in 🇫🇮 where many people can't afford to buy everything they wish, including yours truly.
