My history teacher says that churches are so big to flex the wealth of the Catholic Church and that the council of nicea doesn’t make sense because none of the people actually knew Jesus so they shouldn’t have any authority. He also went on to say that you can’t have a personal relationship with god in the Catholic Church because of the hierarchy. He ALSO marked me wrong for putting God as the head of the Catholic Church on a quiz. He ALSO said that the hierarchy of the Catholic Church only came from when Rome adopted it and institutionalized it. He ALSO said that Catholics celebrate the mandatory mass on Saturday.

And to think, heaven will be hundreds if not thousands of times more beautiful than this. Colors we’ve never seen, streets paved with gold, shining jewels, and us basking in the radiance of Gods glory forever.

I saw this Catholic Church when I went to Korea last year. The inside of the church was even more pretty but I didn’t want to take pics because at that time mass was going on

Hey friend no judgement just helping someone learn, but if you’re talking about the building it’s lowercase church, and if you’re talking about the overall group of people it’s uppercase Church! -sincerely a girl who was in Catholic school up until college and has this burned in her brain 🤗
