@medeaij: #scentoftheday Monday started at ten degrees when I left and will rise by lunchtime, a very specific dressing challenge. To handle it, I chose perfumes that complement each other: Hawas London first, saffron, rose, and frankincense, warm and somewhat regal. Then I layered Odyssey Mandarin Sky on top, mandarin, cardamom, and black pepper, creating an initially bright and chilly scent. By afternoon, the citrus will fade, revealing the amber beneath. Essentially, two perfumes suit different times of day: one for morning, one for the rest. Both are inexpensive, yet they don't smell that way. To wear: I sprayed Hawas London, then Odyssey.
