@hillary_klug: Three generations of old-time music and dance, all in one tune! ❤️🎻👣 Last weekend at Uncle Dave Macon Days, I got to dance “Down Yonder” with my mentor, Thomas Maupin, while my fiddle apprentice Francesca Rainwater played fiddle and Nick Norris backed us up on guitar. I think this might be one of Thomas’s favorite tunes to dance to. There’s a break where the instruments stop playing and the dancers get to carry the rhythm all by themselves. Just listen to those feet! What a joy to share the dance floor with Thomas and the music with Francesca and Nick. These are the moments that make passing on our traditions so special. ❤️ @bonnieandnick
