@tc.travels: The difference between THIS and missing peak fall foliage can literally be one week 🍁👇 Fall foliage chasing is basically a sport because no two years are exactly the same. Cooler nights, warm sunny days, rainfall, drought, wind, and storms can all affect when leaves change, how vibrant the colors are, and how long they actually stay on the trees. A spot can still be mostly green one week, absolutely exploding with red, orange, and yellow the next… and then a windy storm can come through and suddenly half the leaves are on the ground 🫠 We’re from the East Coast and it still took us YEARS to finally time this one perfectly. 📍 Table Rock, Dixville Notch State Park, New Hampshire Dixville Notch is one of our favorite places we’ve ever seen during peak New Hampshire fall foliage. When the timing is right, the entire valley and surrounding mountains turn into a sea of fall colors. 🍂 So if a New England fall road trip has been sitting on your bucket list, this is your sign to actually make it happen when the foliage is peaking. Watch the foliage reports, keep your dates flexible when you can, and be ready to chase the colors because even a few days can make a HUGE difference.
