@alyssapettus: Do I enjoy the gym? Nope. Do I LOVE time with @hunter ? Absolutely. This is his happy place. This is where he thrives. This is a place that bring him joy. So if he’s willing to share his happy place with me I need to make that a priority. Also I’m soooo outa shape it’s not even funny so it’s a win win. So often I forget he’s busy to. I’m always trying to make him come to Henley’s games or on the boat with us or just whatever. I ask him to be part of our world, but I hardly ever make time to be part of his. And that’s on me. As a mom. Getting carried away with life. Just as I hold my kids accountable for their actions in need to be accountable as well. Instead of always trying to force him to be part of my world in need to make it a priority to be part of his. Where he’s at. And let me tell you. I loved the time with him.
