You can't have a flat, but full look. If it's too bulky, you need to space the tracks out more in the bang area or buy thinner hair just for the bang area. I think you have a small head and you are placing the tracks to close and you are using took much hair for your head size. I need 3 bundles, but my head is large and I like a less heavy and full look. You should try using 2 1/2 bundles and see what it looks like.

Do about 2 tracks from ear to ear , then do about 3-4 tracks curved alllll the way to to the top basically in your face. it should up go all the way up to your leave out then just do regular u shape

I start curving sooner and to close it up i start laying them straight so that there’s a track along my leave out… idk if that makes sense

Your first track should be a perimeter track….once you lay your first track for the perimeter start in the back at the nape keep your first bundle behind your ears…. Your second bundle you can lay 2 tracks following your first bundle…. After start curving your tracks and continue with your 3rd bundle… always save a piece of left over hair to lay around your leave for flatness around the leave out… for flatness something quick if your going to do the ponytail method you have to cut the rubber band to make the lump flat or 2 to 3 braids to achieve the flatness

I think yes you need to curve the tracks more. Like instead of just doing it side to side, start curving the tracks up almost all the way in front of your face so that you dont have to add so many tracks to that side, if im making sense.

U can lay them wat tbh e top horizontally so you bang lays flat but lays more towards the front or stop curving them once your circle gets small just start laying them flat but tomato the back more. If u use this method your last track will lay parallel to your part

It looks lovely girl! But in regards to that type of error Imo as a hairstylist it could be the wefts are thick so as you layer it gets thicker bc the density doesn’t match the thickness of the wefts, your mold down isn’t really flat I’d start with if you do the ponytail mow down to swoop the side where your side bank will be instead of pulling it straight back, swoop it down toward your ear and then towards the back of your head, but to be honest, if you truly cannot tell, but I know how it feels when you’re doing your own hair you know how you like it and how you don’t, but you did a great girl!!🤏🏾🤏🏾

When I do my side parts, once I get to the ear that’s when I figure how much I want in my face and I stop curving, and start closing the space mostly straight across.

I hope this makes sense. Once you get to the second c curve start flat ironing the track wefts, then glue and lay them straight all the way to your parting space. Let me know if this helps
