I hate getting anything lower than a 96 because I feel like a failure, and the thing is I'm the one that holds myself to such a high standard and when I get anything lower my eyes start to water and my head tells me I'm a failure and that I'm genuinely stupid and worthless and when I complain about my grades to my friends and I say I'm failing a class or I have such a bad grade they ask me what and I can say like a 89 and they're like that is so good and then they say they wish they had that grade and then I feel guilty and annoying for complaining and so I just go silent and start to overthink because they genuinely don't understand how much academic validation affects me so I start to question if I annoy them and if they think I'm dramatic

I'm actually so upset I have an 88 in one of my classes right now. And I have a 90 in one of my classes and I feel like that isn't high enough even though I'm only aiming for all A honor roll and a 90 should be fine
