Whenever I see a video of someone laying a floor, the comments section is full of "experts." Personally, I enjoy watching these videos to pick up new ways of doing things. Yesterday, I installed a vinyl plank floor—floating, without glue, and directly over the existing parquet—at a client's request. The vinyl planks came with built-in underlayment, and I found them quick and pleasant to work with. Installing a floating floor using this type of vinyl plank is easy and fast, and the end result looked great. I certainly might not do things exactly the same way as someone else, but does it really matter, provided the client is happy with the result, it looks good, and it lasts?

how he just wiped the glue with his hands will hold dust and make spots
go slower..clean up correct.
get a rag
quality over quantity
pre-stacking is also a waste of ⏲️

You use a hardwood mallet only on hardwood. The rubber end put finish burns that you’ll see when u wipe clean. Don’t fill the wall boards until 3 boards randomly pyramid past the out side corner then snap a plumb line half way into the new adjoining room so you can put proper thickness of spacers on the fill wall !

I don’t think that’s engineered wood. I think it’s laminate.
