I will say, the state did just had massive flash flooding in August, I have no idea what parts of Indy will be fully back together as some significantly roads were washed away - but you must go to the Art museum there or the children’s museum! It’s absolutely amazing. You also must go down Mass Ave - yummy food, good niche little shops. It’s like they smushed a bit of Brunswick & Fitzroy together.

That children’s museum has an entire train engine inside from the late 19th century. It’s truly an epic place and don’t let the title fool you it’s not just for kids. Indianapolis is a bit of an underrated city.
