Mom of 3 and there is no solution to the high chair. I've been cleaning that thing 3 times a day for 5 years!! Get a dog for the floor 🤣

Smaller portions. Mine would throw when done/bored. If they truly want more, give more. But giving smaller portions and adding as wanted really helped this behavior (when she was old enough).

1) have a dog to clean up the floor mess for you, 2) disinfectant wipes after every meal. That’s been the only way I’ve been able to stay sane. 😂

Trash bag over the chair without the tray attached. Cut holes for straps trash bag cut open on the floor as well. Cheap ones. OR a small tarp on the floor under it during meal times. Throw the whole chair in the shower once a week to clean the entire thing

Get a dog for the food and a nice handheld showerhead with a long hose to wash the high chair. The showerhead is also handy for horrible blowouts

My daughter still does this (she’s 21 months) no matter how small portions we give her. Shes a chronic food thrower. So I don’t really have good tips for that. BUT for clean up, I bought a $25 plastic ikea high chair. I take it outside and hose it off after meals and it makes clean up 10x better.

I got the ones that strap to any chair. took the cover off and set it in the floor. after they are done the dog is aloud in to clean up

I had a machine washable dog water mat to put under my kids chair! Worked great, just shake it off outside or wherever and hose er off.

Cheap ikea high chair and buy a foot rest and removable inflatable backrest with washable covers. Take the high chair outside and spray it down after. I also had silicone tray covers for it. 10/10.

you can buy a Bib that goes over the chest and arms like sleeves and it goes over the entire top of the high chair. I got one for when we eat messier foods to help with the cleanup. i got mine for like $10 on Amazon and its washable too
