That's nothing. When I was a waitress decades ago, the owner would MAKE US use any of the leftover bread from other tables, to new tables! I once accidentally dropped a basket on the floor and he was standing right there and he picked them all up off the floor, put them back in the basket and said, they're fine! Just go bring them to your table!! 🤢🤮

It means someone at the store did not set out enough bread for proofing and baking and they brought some from another store most likely owned by the same franchise owner
