I challenge you to go to a place you aren't familiar with, stand there for a few moments looking at the menu, and then selecting what you want. Exposure therapy. It may not cure the anxiety, but it may lesson the intensity.

If I’m going somewhere I’ve never been. I look at the menu online, if they have one, and have a game plan before we get there. Sometimes I exhaust myself with my quirks.
