I have seen people debate that it is not the real Ash, and that it is spoke "haliciuating" how ever, what unstable video's show every time, that it is a game, spoke tried to capture that guy from the farlands and he logged out. a reminder that it is a game, it wouldn't be possible for spoke to "see things" since the story is told from a POV where they are behind PC, they don't tell the story like the world it self as "real life" for example they still call it server etc, so for that I think it really was ash, he also had his classic stasis rod, he probably did that as the commander arrived, how he knows everything about how he left mapic etc I don't know.

I think the commander is going to betray spoke for wemmbu becuase spoke was making irrational decisions and doesn’t care about his soldiers but wemmbu is still strong even without his orbitals not only is power but also in moral for his dedication to save his friends
