This is an incredible explanation of exactly what needs to happen. As a huge fan of AI and its potential, and as someone who uses it every day and even teaches other how to implement into their lives, this explains exactly the concerns I and many others have. AI is advancing at such a rapid pace that if we don’t do something immediately to curtail it, we are essentially designing our own doom. from the infinite number of problems that a self-learning AI could unleash. Everything from developing bio weapons to hacking the economy to impersonating others on social media, the list is never ending. Something must be done, or we are all screwed
