Also please look up Nordstrom’s breast cancer program!! They sell skims there and have a whole program for breast cancer survivors (FREE!) where they help you try on different bras and stuff. I work there and had my grandma do the program :)

Skims has them! There’s sellers on the selling apps that have over stock of them listed. Theres also sellers on tik tok that have live bids for them.. they go for about $20-30

i’ve never thought about this outcome, i’ve only thought about total loss of both breast. i can’t imagine what an adjustment this must be. would insurance cover removal of the other one if you ended up wanting that?

Things brings me back! My grandma had a prosthetic breast for her bra and because she had the lymph nodes taken out of her arm, it was way too heavy for her. I used to swinging it around and say I would use it as a weapon if someone came in the house. While it was a funny memory, there needs to be more visibility around this issue
