Would you ever consider making a TikTok about the risk of SCC in people with long-term HS? I feel like this isn’t talked about enough, and a lot of us may not know what warning signs to look for or when to get a spot checked or biopsied. I think a video from a dermatologist could educate so many people and potentially help someone catch something early! 🫶🏻 Just an idea I wanted to share because awareness is so important in the HS community! 💗

Had it on my nose. I told my dermatologist at the end of my appointment that I had a spot that would peel and bleed, heal up and rinse and repeat. He biopsied it and it was basal cell carcinoma. Had mohs, took 3 passes. I thought I just needed a cream, glad I offhandedly said something.

I had it on my head never paid attention to sunblock on my part line in my hair .. had to have MOHS surgery it took 2 passes to remove the cancer , had allergic reaction to stitches , it’s 8years and hair never grew back . Please wear sunscreen!!!

Hello. My son has a purple mole for a year ago. It feels hard under the skin, and he is now 6 years old. I took him to a dermatologist when it first appeared, but the doctor only looked at it from a distance and said it was just a mole. No further tests were performed. How can I find out what it really is? i am from Romania.
