61 days until Miss Universe Great Britain 2026 👑✨ And somehow… I’m writing this from a rooftop in Marrakesh with the call to prayer echoing through the city, mint tea in hand, and a nervous system that’s slowly learning how to breathe again. 🌍🤍 This trip has been a reminder that confidence isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s: • walking through the medina alone when you’re anxious • learning to trust yourself in unfamiliar places • wearing the bikini after years of overthinking your body • taking the photo anyway • rebuilding your confidence one tiny decision at a time People see pageant prep and think it’s just glam, heels and photoshoots… but honestly? A huge part of this journey has been internal. Learning how to stop shrinking. Learning how to take up space. Learning how to belong in rooms I once thought were “for other people.” And if you’re coming to Marrakesh, here are a few things I’ve learned already 👇🏼🇲🇦 ✨ Travel tips: • Download offline maps BEFORE walking through the medina 😂 • Most riads are hidden down little alleyways — that’s normal • Carry cash (Moroccan dirham) because lots of small places don’t take card • Dress stylish but breathable… it gets HOT hot ☀️ • Don’t panic if people call you “Shakira” or “Beyoncé” every 5 minutes 😭 • Rooftop restaurants at sunset are magical • Fresh orange juice here tastes unreal • If you feel overwhelmed, slow down. Marrakesh is beautiful but very stimulating This chapter of my life feels messy, exciting, uncomfortable, healing and transformational all at once. 62 days to go.
