You should take a break from them for a bit. It’s a common infection called chloronychia. Just make sure to take care of them and keep the nails off for a bit!

this happened to me you need to soak it in vinegar and scrub it with a toothbrush and file it and it goes away it just trapped moisture

nail tech here!!! this is called a greenie. it happens when water/bacteria get trapped under a lifted nail and have no where to go. every nail tech is different but i personally leave the decision of putting a nail back on or not up to my client because the second it touches air and dries out it dies and will not continue to grow. i also use a product called fung off that you can find on amazon to ensure it has been completely killed! i would recommend taking a break from press ons because this will just continue to happen while wearing them!!
