my son was in the hospital for 2 months. I also had 2 other kids at home. I was a SAHM but my husband was a blue collar worker. I didnt leave the hospital. I cant imagine my baby fighting for their life without me there fighting too. there were many days I had a baby on my hip all day walking up and down the hospital hallways pulling my son in his wagon or playing dinos with my older son (he was almost 4) on the bedside table. it wasn't easy, AT ALL but I couldnt imagine leaving that room.
