Unfortunately, there is one big problem put a hundred individuals in a room, give them the same Bible, and apparently all of them will say what they want not because it was the truth just a hundred confident interpretations. Each insists that he is simply following “what the Bible says,” yet somehow the Bible keeps saying different things depending on who happens to be holding it.  At some point, the question becomes unavoidable, are they discovering the truth in Scripture, or are they finding Scripture to agree with what they already want to believe? That's why the Pope, Magisterium, and Catechism are very important 😊

I find it amusing when Protestants use the Bible against the Catholic Church as though the Bible somehow existed independently of the Church that made, preserved, compiled, and canonized it. Historically speaking, that’s quite the plot twist: you’re using the Church’s book to argue against the Church. Not to mention all Church Fathers and Early Christians historically identified themselves as Catholic and fully submit to the Pope. The Catholic Church was already 300 years old before they made and canonized all the Scriptures that were canonical to be part of the Bible. The Catholic Church was already 1500 years old before the birth of Emperor Constantine 😊

Pope-elect Stephen II deserves an honorable mention too. He died before he could be officially crowned Pope, and though he was elected he is no longer formally counted as a reigning Pope, whose pontificate of 3 days would’ve been the shortest. It also messed up the numbering for every other Pope Stephen to come after him.
