My aunt does quilts. I did not have my son till 38 so I was the last one and the one she never thought she would make one for. The quilt shop was still one of my favorite days. Her most hated quilt she has ever done and I adore it! It is not baby its more kid but I wanted something that could grow with him. Its bugs and adventures with maps and cute boy outside things.

I had my great aunt do this for my son and then the ballet got ruined and I had to leave it behind when moving and it makes me so sad because she worked on the 7 months I was pregnant

My aunt had a dream about a baby girl (as she does when babies come around) and she started making a purple blanket. So when I told her she cried and asked what color blanket I wanted and I said PURPLE 😭 she gave me a scrap and I carry it in my wallet! I can’t wait for my baby to have it 💜
