Details in the Facebook Clubhouse — link in bio!] Packing for a long travel day with your toddler can feel overwhelming. This is how we’re packing for our 2.5-year-old for our upcoming 15-hour travel day — with everything broken down into 5 digestible parts: 🩳 1. EXTRA CLOTHES. Accidents WILL happen. Pack 3-4x full outfits for your little one and at least 1x extra top for yourself. We personally like to pack our little one’s sleep items (pajamas, sleep sack, loveys, portable sound machine) into our Hideaway carry-on duffel because we access them only once or twice per flight. If your little one is sleeping more frequently, we would put these items in the diaper bag and shift out some of the extra outfits to our carry-on. 🤤 2. FOOD. Plan to board your flight with 1.5x what you think you’ll need. For our 2.5-year-old, we always buy a significant amount of food at the airport and a little bit on the flight so that we can offer some warm meal options and some fun *new* foods to add some novelty to the journey. 💩🚽3. DIAPER CHANGES, POTTY, HYGIENE. How many changes do you anticipate? Pack 1.5x diapers and wipes what you think you’ll need. We are in the thick of potty training so we also pack a travel potty, Clorox wipes, and a change of bottoms/underwear in our Sidekick hip pack instead of diapers (with a few diapers in our Getaway Bag available for naps)! 🖍️ 4. ENTERTAINMENT. Pack a variety of 10+ (or more) *new* and 2-3 *favorite* activities for your little one. We love to bring a mix of magnetic building toys, play dough, sensory toys, small vehicles with road tape, crayons, mess-free water painting books, I Spy-type books, sticker activities books, and miscellaneous toys from loot bags.
