season 3 has been so bad about maga propaganda. it's almost unwatchable. I love the show and I had a fast forward through so many of the episodes because I couldn't take all the propaganda

Sheridan always throws a ton of conservative propaganda in his TV shows. Landman was so obvious with the gas company talking points, and even back in Yellowstone the whole philosophy of the show can be summed up as "Deadly force is the best way to defend 'The good ole ways'", and it just gets more blatant with each show he makes.

Taylor Sheridan is that annoying know-it-all tin hat uncle. Sometimes he’s spot on but when he’s wrong he’s SO WRONG. Don’t get me started on the way he writes women. That said gis shows are hella watchable and I love lioness. Two things can be true ;)

Spot on. Excellent pacing, acting and visuals and then…wut?…A character says something utterly batshit with faux seriousness and all sober authority, eliciting zero negative reaction in scene. Some of them are actually kinda hilarious.

@schroederess: I’m catching up on season 3 now. I definitely can see some of what you’re saying. But this rhetoric is not right wing. It’s imperial/colonial and crosss right and left. It’s incredibly realistic, particularly when you consider some from the Democratic Party attacking DSA. It’s party agnostic and 100% imperialistic and spans admirations throughout history.
