@herbswithjen: God made these, and He made them specific. One use each, so this does not turn into a book. There are more. ST. JOHN’S WORT OIL Flowers infused in oil until it runs red. Rub in for nerve pain, sciatica, old burns. Keep treated skin covered and out of the sun. Sunlight on it has caused second-degree blisters. Internal St. John’s wort interacts with MANY medications, so ask your physician before you take it that way. ECHINACEA ANGUSTIFOLIA First sign, not all winter. Start day one, stop by day ten. Tincture or fresh juice. Skip it with autoimmune disease, immune suppression, or an Asteraceae allergy. BURDOCK ROOT (Arctium lappa) An alterative for stubborn skin, working through the body’s own clearance pathways. Simmer the root 20 minutes, or eat it as food. Slow work, weeks. PEPPERMINT (Mentha x piperita) Two forms, two jobs. Leaf tea after meals for gas and heaviness. Enteric-coated oil capsules are what the IBS research used, swallowed whole, never chewed. Skip the oil with reflux, hiatal hernia, gallstones or bile duct trouble. Not for young children. CHASTE TREE BERRY, Vitex agnus-castus For PMS and cycle regularity. Tincture, mornings, three full cycles before you judge it. Ask your doctor first if you are on hormonal birth control, hormone therapy or dopamine medication, or have had a hormone-sensitive cancer or pituitary condition. MILKY OAT TOPS (Avena sativa) The seed at the milky stage, tinctured fresh. Dried oat straw tea is nourishing, but it is not the same thing. Deep nervous system food for the frayed and depleted. Taken steadily, not once. GOLDENROD (Solidago virgaurea / canadensis) Flushes the urinary tract, traditionally used to help pass gravel. Drink as tea. Drink real water alongside it. Skip it if you are fluid-restricted for heart or kidney disease, take a prescription diuretic, or react to the Asteraceae family. Pregnant, nursing or medicated, ask first. Education, not medical advice. “He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man.” Psalm 104:14 Save + share this! . . . . . #christianherbalist #fyp #herbalremedies #herbsforhealth #herbswithjen

It is not the herb that is to be destroyed, it is the liars and deceivers that destroyed the earth…are they not comprehending, those that seek truth that truth may be established may search and find, and shall those that deceive feel as if they are clever if for a moment they were able to deceive..there is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed… as for me, I seek to have a good name and build an honorable house… ~~~ https://www.britannica.com/plant/common-tobacco

Hi Jen ! I just found your page and I love this especially as someone who doesn’t care for pharmaceutical medicines to depend on. My question is what would you suggest to look out for in labels when buying herbs to know I’m buying the best option ? Any recommended brands?

Yes I love this! We need to move to natural solutions, we’ve become so accustomed to drug solutions when there are natural remedies!🥰
