Recently I’ve been asked a lot about self-sabotage. Why do we return to old patterns and habits, even when we know they’re no longer serving us? And I keep coming back to this: Growth isn’t comfortable. Think back to being a child. “Growing pains” were a literal experience we went through for years — and we understood that discomfort was part of becoming bigger. But somewhere along the way, we became adults who don’t want to feel pain. The ego will do almost anything to avoid it. So we retreat into what’s familiar. We repeat the pattern. We choose what we know over what we actually want. But growth requires change. It requires discomfort. New patterns. New ways of being. Discipline. Discernment. And the willingness to hold a mirror to yourself and be brutally honest about what’s actually happening. Because sometimes the thing standing between you and the life you want… is the version of you that is terrified of becoming someone new. So ask yourself: How much do you actually want the dream? How much are you willing to change? What are you willing to feel? What are you willing to let go of? And what are you willing to move through to receive it? Because you can keep choosing what feels safe… or you can choose what helps you grow. #HealingJourney #consciousness #fyp
