Protect your corners and walls, make sure they arent bored, and also, fun fact, rabbits can have lukewarm chamomile tea, as long as you add nothing to it at all! Dont give them carrots, depending on the size, lets say medium, they need a 6 x 10 foot cage, if you get a girl spay her as soon as you possibly can, they get cancer in their ovaries, almost 80% of the time before they reach 4, diet wise, id suggest a basic 80% hay, 10% veggies, and 10% pellets, even 5% pellets, 15% veggies, and learn if your bunny prefers solitary or companions, every rabbit is different, my bunnies prefer being alone, but cuddle to sleep to go to bed, other than that they play by themselves, and also, they can be litter trained, but accidents happen when they poop, so be prepared to redirect, bunnies teeth are supposed to be white and slightly, ever so slightly, yellow, they need hay 24/7, because they have back teeth called incisors you cannot see, that grow just as much as their front teeth, and respect boundaries, do not pick them up unless required

Ignore most of these comments. You don’t need two. You shouldn’t free roam 24/7. Pellets are fine. You don’t NEED hay 24/7.

Litter train, free roam or 4x4 minimum with free roam time, lots of hay, hiding places, chew toys, soft flooring, you have to spend time with them esp if you only get one they are social animals and will get depressed and die

they drink a lot of water! so always make sure it’s a bowl and topped up. they’re also really messy and not low maintenance at all. they need lots of room, a specialised diet and plenty of enrichment

Hold on.. everyone saying get a ton of hay… start with a decent amount and then figure out what you actually need. Like the type that your bunny would eat as well as the amount that you can store in your house. I bought. 50lb box of hay for more than half of it just sitting in my garage now 😭 it was just way too much and honestly the quality didn’t look too good so I bought a different smaller package and that worked out better for me😁
