It goes to judgement and presumption. It would be like showing up on day 1 in a suit for a job that oks jeans. What we have “lost” in professional settings is the “team” vibe. For most it is just a job and thinking outside the box as a representative of a company is no longer a thing. Showing in pjs/causal wear to me says lazy. That 1st impression matters especially when so many people are equally qualified and out of work these days. Also bringing food around does not take into account other people‘s allergies or distaste for some people. The smell of coffee is awful or imagine heating garlic in staff microwave. No rule just a tone deaf thing to do..
