I can relate to this so deeply. I was married at 18 because my parents forced me into marriage after I became pregnant at 17. I divorced at 23. I wasn’t saved then. I grew up in a Catholic family, but later came to know Christ and was saved by His grace. I’m 40 now, and I can truly say I am free, loved, and held by Him. What a difference His grace makes. ❤️

Thank you for sharing this! I did the same thing, got married at 23 and divorced at 26 after finding myself in an abusive marriage when the Holy Spirit told me not to marry this person. It really is that serious to wait for the Lord. 🤍

Looking back all the warning sides were there. My wedding day I was so anxious and just wanted it to be over but I was committed to becoming a wife like you. I was depressed. Only took 2 years for him to commit adultery & be verbally abusive. That was biblical grounds to leave. We divorced but now I’m 30 remarried with our first baby on the way. He is a godly man I am in peace God is in the center & my nervous system is regulated. Never felt a love like this. It’s so special and important to listen to the Holy Spirit.

I was so committed being with this man! I didn’t marry him thank God, but I went through so much hell because I didn’t listen! I feel you so much, because this is me too. I’m still suffering the consequences, because I didn’t listen. Every day I have to pray about the guilt and shame I feel. Got married at 21, divorced by 23. This message touches my heart so much because I was also so stubborn with what I wanted regardless of all the warning signs, I always defended him, I thought I could fix him… promised me he’d change after marriage and it only got worse… ladies all that pain CAN be avoided
