I lived in Anchorage for 3 1/2 yrs and I’ve def had multiple encounters. Mostly backed up traffic bc they won’t move 😭 But one time my best friend and I came home to one on our doorstep and we both looked at each other and said, “nope” and drove around for about an hour until it left. They’re SO big!

I have seen them in Saskatchewan even one that was 🔫 💀. I’ve even eaten moose meat when I was there . It was okay .

I've seen them run through a field and over a fence into the forest and they just stepped over the fence. HUGE

I'm about an hour from Canada in NE Wa. I've never seen a moose but ever so often one gets hit on the highway around 10 miles from my house. It's usually a pretty bad accident when it happens. Them and Elk, those are huge and plentiful around here too. Honestly, moose are the only thing I haven't seen in real life yet. Seen everything else around here. (Deer, Elk, Wolves, Cougar, Bear, etc)

Married to a Mainer here… we go every summer and winter. I have never seen a Moose. 🫎 no idea they were that big either!!! Maybe I don’t want to see a Moose

I actually got my first moose in my late 30s, it was a young bull and it was delicious. [Big LOL] they are massive and you should hear them when they are running through the woods full speed ahead, there's a lot of loud cracking and thrashing, and quite terrifying to hear. when they're in their rut it's quite the sight when the bulls fight for mate's.

I was in the woods in Alaska and I heard a crazy noise and when I looked to see what it was it was a Kodiak dragging a moose luckily it was busy so I was able to tactically withdraw without being noticed

I saw a baby moose (like maybe just weaned, we were looking around for mama) in Yellowstone park many years ago, and it was the size of a full grown horse. yeah, they're absolute giants!

I was up in Algonquin Park years ago and a big bull moose came up from a gully onto the road beside us. We were in a Honda Civic and all we could see was his stifles. Thankfully he didn't care what we doing and kept on going. We almost sh!t our pants lol.
