these comments make me sad, and maybe that's because I'm a weird kid and I can't really change that, but it's not fair to choose somebody over somebody else for popularity, out of personal experience I have an average size friend group full of weirdos and gays but they all are the best thing that ever happened to me. in my opinion having 7 friends who will sit with you in your darkest times are better then a hundred friend that will abandon you when it's convenient.

People need to realize that half of the time popularity doesn't even matter outside of highschool, you grow apart with your friends from highschool for the most part and make new ones in college/university so why not just be yourself? Be weird, honestly who cares, I wasnt popular but I was friendly so I was acquainted with the "popular" people but I had my little friend group and found the love of my life and I just started university and half of the people I knew already don't reach out to me, dont throw away what could be lifelong friendships with the actual same interests as you for seeming popular, it doesn't last
