The SODI Sport (Sport 38) chassis is a race-inspired kart engineered to deliver performance far beyond a typical rental kart. Built from high-strength tubular steel, the chassis is designed to provide the perfect balance between rigidity and controlled flex. Unlike cars, karts have no suspension system—meaning the chassis itself generates grip. Through carefully engineered flex characteristics, the kart lifts the inside rear wheel in corners, reducing resistance and allowing it to rotate smoothly while maintaining maximum traction and speed. A key innovation of the SODI Sport platform is the PROFLEX system, which allows the protective structures to move independently from the chassis. This ensures that safety does not compromise performance, keeping the kart responsive, stable, and consistent in every corner. Combined with precise steering geometry, optimized weight distribution, and strong hydraulic braking, the result is a kart that delivers sharp turn-in, stable mid-corner balance, and powerful exit traction. When paired with the Rotax 125cc MAX EVO engine, the kart transforms into a true racing machine. This single-cylinder, 2-stroke, liquid-cooled engine produces around 30 horsepower and operates at high RPM, delivering strong acceleration and a narrow but powerful powerband. Equipped with an electric starter, centrifugal clutch, and advanced exhaust valve system, it offers both performance and reliability. The lightweight combination of chassis and engine creates an excellent power-to-weight ratio, giving drivers precise control and competitive lap times. The Dutch Racing Series brings this exact combination together in a real race format, ensuring equal equipment for all drivers and creating close, competitive racing.
