I don’t think the high five made him reject you. There were probably other behind the scenes things that were going on, like guy could have had another girl or something. Because honestly if someone truly likes a person, they invest that energy into the other person and a high five would not be a turn off. If I was into someone a lot, they could sneeze in my face or throw up in my lap and I would still be attracted to them. It’s just the laws of physical attraction and chemistry

As someone who’s not a hugger, I saw no harm in the high five. We call it ET-ing it in my house, literally just touch fingers and say hi. And my kids love it.
