I’ve used the Ian Knot method since I was 7 years old. Fastest way ever made to tie them. And for some reason everyone is amazed when they see it 🤷🏻♀️it’s how I learned so I don’t get how so many people don’t know about it 😂

I taught myself to tie my shoes when I was 4. I’m 56, I still tie my shoes with bunny ears, I would argue that it is the superior method of tying shoes.

So, I am both a professional shoe tier (teacher), and a part time bow-tier (I craft for fun)… sure there’s more than one method… but I’ve spent years tying countless shoes using bunny ears. Tell ‘em all to pound salt lol

Two bunnies isn’t as secure as a “standard bow.” Standard Bow: Made by tying a base knot, forming a loop with one lace, and wrapping the other lace around the correct directional way (clockwise) before pulling through.

I never learned bunny ears. I've only ever done the loop, swoop, pull. Tried bunny ears when I learned about it in my mid-20s and found it very awkward.
