Valentines Day Spicy Vodka Pasta with Steak 🥩🍝 2 tablespoon olive oil 1 white onion diced 5-6 garlic cloves minced 1 cup tomato paste  4 tablespoons red pepper flakes 4 tbsp vodka 
1 cup heavy cream or half and half 
16 oz dried pasta 4 tablespoons butter 1 cup grated parmesan Chopped parsley Salt to taste Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Cook your pasta until al dente and drain, saving 1 cup of pasta water. Set the cooked pasta and pasta water to the side.
 Place a large saucepan over medium heat. Once warm, add the olive oil then add the garlic and onion. Cook for 3 minutes. Add the tomato paste and mix together using a wooden spoon, Add salt at this time little by little! Add vodka to deglaze pan and add red pepper flakes. Cook and stir for 3 minutes. 
 Add the cream and stir everything together, let simmer for 3 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and toss in the butter and parmesan. Mix everything together on low heat. Sauce will be slightly thick so you can add your pasta water slowly and stir until desired consistency. Serve with steak, garnish with more parmesan, chopped parsley, and more red pepper flakes. For steak: we seasoned 2 short ribs and cooked on the Blackstone until medium rare!
