Yes, both the extreme wet fall/winter snow pack weather patterns in 92 and 07 laid the foundations as the catalyst for the floods that would occur in 93 and 08 throughout the Midwest portion of the Mississippi River basin. If historical data and the results hold true, next spring and summer could prove to be another catastrophic year along the Mississippi River basin and its major and minor tributaries 🫠

I live in SE Nebraska and I was just thinking this was like September of 92. the summer was cool, we had awesome corn, but we had dry enough in October we got the beans with ease. it was my freshman year in highschool. we had to go swimming, it was so cold in the water! our winter wasn't that cold but it was wet, so much mud that winter. I felt bad for the cattle!

I remember the winter of 92/93 I remember the blizzard in 91 around Halloween. in Ks we got almost 2 foot of snow in 5 days with 45 moh wind and 92 93 over 60 inches on average some places near 100 inches

I remember spring of '08 and we had an awful ice storm, lost power in town for a week. I remember watching transformers blow up. I now live in the country and am due with my 3rd baby around the new year, so praying we can make it through the winter without loosing power for to long.

nope, was in Wyoming. but I remember the flood of Nebraska in 2019. we lived in the area that could flood in Norfolk. went and spent 2 days with a friend who was on high ground

I remember slinging sandbags in Cedar Falls both times, in elementary school in 93 and had family flooded out, had friends downtown area of Cedar Falls with water threatening to breach the levee so I went and pulled a 24hr+ shift filling and slinging sandbags until we knew the water wasn't gonna breach into downtown. I ended up getting pictures and the Waterloo Courier both times. '93 carring stuff through chest deep flood water from my grandma and aunt's trailer in North cedar off Lincoln St, '07 I was part of a group of 10 or so filling sandbags at 2:30am on the levee near the main Street bridge in CF.

Here, 2015 was a bugger. Everyone bought tow ropes and we all had to load on the road. It was a mess!!!!
