2 summers ago I threw out my back bending over to put on my shoes. I was bed ridden for 2 days. I had intense sciatica pain, intense lower back pain, my feet always (and I mean ALWAYS) hurt. I was miserable. I was going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out what was wrong. Finally one doctor told me what I didn’t want to hear - that I just needed to lose weight. I was upset. I was offended. But I knew she was right. When my labs came back and my A1c was in the 10’s 😮 I finally decided that enough was enough and I had to take action. I was sick of not being able to show up for the people I love and not being able to show up for myself. The first step of that journey was getting on #ozempic to help manage my diabetes and to start helping to curb my appetite. I was eating WAY too much. Like enough food for 2 or 3 people. I was spending so much money on food. I was hungry all the time. Ozempic helped to quiet that noise. Curve craving. And started to eliminate some of the visceral fat that I had been carrying around. As I slowly began to lose weight I started to get more energy and feel better. Ozempic helped me get started but staying true to my diet and then adding in exercise is where the real results came. I have now lost over 100 pounds and I feel incredible. I have so much energy. Too much energy sometimes!! 😂 I like to make working out fun. Do a little dance between sets. Listen to music that gets me going. Do my cardio outside somewhere scenic instead of on a machine looking at a tv. I’ve lost over 100 pounds. If I can do it, where I was when I started, then anyone can do it. If you want help getting started, especially if you’re in the DFW area, reach out to me. I can help point you in the right direction. #workout #gym #gymmotivation #weightloss #gymbro #fitnessjourney #dance
