This is legit. Last year I noticed 4 of my assignments were graded within 4 minutes apart. Including a discussion board. Which I got docked for “not contributing enough to discussion”. When we had to write an essay over our opinions on online courses I knew she wouldn’t read it so used it to let out all my frustration and confirmed she in fact didn’t read any of it. I was a little nervous of backlash but I was more disappointed in being right.

Where it (still probably AI) says "you both shared", it doesn't mean 2 people, it says you shared 'these two things', as well as... Like saying "You both shared your pain and beauty in that artwork, as well as a vulgar portrait which elucidates a hidden sadness". 'Both', meaning 2 themes, not 2 people.

I will say, and I’m not arguing against your point at all, but the response that starts with “you both…” is actually a grammatically correct way to say “you did this, and you did that”. It isn’t assuming that two people wrote it, it’s saying “you were able to express two thoughts at the same time”

Professors are literally not doing their jobs. I had one who tried to fail me on my final project for a course after he gave me permission to share the file a certain way (a 3D file with inspectable texture files shared via sketchfab), I did so, and then he claimed he never gave that permission (I had screenshot proof of the conversation) and the file wasn't inspectable (it was, he just never even looked at it). I had to go to the department chair to be fairly graded.

Exactly, paying institutions $8k-$22k a semester to pay to learn just for professors to use AI. To generate their syllabus or slides, or to grade is useless. If I wanted to use AI, I would use AI for free and learn for free. Not to mention, if professors were able to grade students essays by hand, it’s should be a requirement now. Especially if teachers and professors keep talking about how “younger generations rely too much on technology for everything, especially connections” and then go and do the same thing. If professors “don’t get paid enough” it sounds like they should get paid more.
