@dr_ingky: Your cheek pigmentation gets darker every summer? That is known as Melasma Melasma isn't triggered by UV alone. Heat and skin irritation can also make it worse. What helps: • Skip harsh scrubs → Avoid unnecessary irritation • Use gentle actives → Azelaic acid can be a milder option • Limit heat exposure → Hot showers, saunas, and prolonged heat can trigger flare-ups • Protect your skin → SPF 50+ and a hat when outdoors Truth: Managing melasma isn't just about treating pigmentation. You also need to reduce the triggers that make it worse. Save this for later.

@Sonu Goldy Saini: Hi dear.. i have been on tret 0.25 for 4months then 0.05 for two months and then last 2months using tazarotene 0.1(highest)i was fine for two months bur now my barrier is bit stingy. It stings with even normal moisturiser?? I stopped actives for 3-4 days barrier is calm. My skin is not red or anything just stings for few moniures of am and pm routine. I question is shall i go back to tretinoin ? Or stick with tazarotene as i done 2months on it. I am 47 years old. Thank you
