I swear, a man can manipulate you to the point where you start questioning your own worth. My ex got me upset, I reacted, and he got really pissed. I still apologized the next day for overreacting. Omo, this boy took it so personally. I kept apologizing for something I honestly didn’t feel I was wrong for. I even texted his friend to help me talk to him and reached out to him myself, only for him to say he was no longer interested in the relationship. It really hurt because I genuinely thought this one would work out, especially after how unlucky I’ve been with relationships. The crazy part is, throughout our relationship, he never apologized even when he was clearly wrong. Somehow, he would turn everything around and make me feel like I was the problem. At some point, I started questioning myself and my worth.
