I don’t find that thoughtful sign useful at all! In my experience all pen-pals who are reluctant to meet in person always have thoughtful tag because they heck lot of time on the app.

I agree, the idea behind it is nice, but asking “would you see this person again” isn’t very useful when there’s no option to select why you wouldn’t see them again. If they were a good match on Hinge but behaved differently in person, you probably do want to see more similar profiles bc hopefully the next person will be the same in-person as they portray on their profile/via chat. After that question, it’d make sense for people who respond with ‘no’ to get shown the same list of reasons that Hinge offers when you remove a like instead of just Xing it, which is something like just not interested, impersonating someone, inappropriate content, behaviour off hinge inappropriate etc.

I was literally thinking about this yesterday. Like you sort of score someone, because I think it wouldn’t definitely weed out the ones actually looking for a relationship/ to date intentionally and those who use it quite literally to pass time.
