I did cpr on a 80 year old women in our er car drop off area out front. I checked for a pulse felt nothing and immediately started cpr. Her husband looked at me and my crew and said “please save my wife”. Use your medical training and ur surroundings and never hesitate.

I hate the first Statistic because people won’t because they’re scared of boobs but CPR is done in the middle of the chest if you’re touching your boob other than to move it you are doing something wrong!!!

I’m an EMT-B w/ BLS Cert. When we went over our BLS classes we were taught to angle our hand to the point where we aren’t “grabbing, holding, or otherwise uncomfortable and unneeded contact”. At the end of the day, it’s a persons life. Now more than ever those lawsuits (taking granted they did CPR properly) have been increasingly dropped. Cases do absolutely still happen, but it’s important to remember that not doing your job (especially as a medical professional) properly because it’s a woman is considered negligence and can cost you your license or even throw you in a cell for manslaughter.
