@fromcionnehours: back then, i slept through anaphy. but later on, i sit through those lessons and think of you so intensely that sometimes i forget i am supposed to be taking notes. the diagrams have faces now. the processes have memories. the body has your name on it. and i think that is the most beautiful thing this subject has ever taught me: i spent so long learning what keeps a human being alive, only to fall in love with one particular human being and realize that, all along, i had been learning the anatomy of how to fall in love with you. #literature #poetry #fyp #writing #09

a fun fact about my online anatomy and physiology days: i used to sleep through almost every class. it was the height of the pandemic, cameras were optional, and my professor’s voice was practically a custom-made lullaby. 😅 then one day, a senior of mine joined our virtual lecture—a back subject for him, i assume. i rarely pay attention to people, but i was utterly spellbound. he kept me awake and staring for the entire block. lewl. after that, i showed up to every single class alert and ready, secretly hoping he’d appear again. he never did. 🥲 it was just a fleeting crush—a brief spark in the dark. but he ended up being the muse behind this piece.
