@ha_med_talks: What would you do if someone suddenly collapsed in front of you? The first few moments matter. Instead of panicking, remember DRABC: 🔴 D — Danger: Make sure the scene is safe before approaching. 🟠 R — Response: Tap their shoulders and ask, “Are you okay?” 🟡 A — Airway: Open the airway and check for an obvious obstruction. 🟢 B — Breathing: Check for normal breathing for up to 10 seconds. Gasping is NOT normal breathing. 🔵 C — Circulation/CPR: If they’re unresponsive and not breathing normally, call for emergency help, start CPR and get an AED if available. ❌ Don’t give an unconscious person water or food. ❌ Don’t waste time trying to make them stand. ❌ Don’t delay CPR if they’re not breathing normally. Knowing what to do can turn a bystander into someone who saves a life. ❤️ Save this. You might need it someday. #emergency #firstaid #collapse #fainting #heartattack
