What he’s saying is not entirely true. The Mandingo ethnic group is made up of so many tribes so when they call someone a Mandingo or Malinke in a different country it’s not referring to the Wangaras. All Wangaras are mandigos but not all Mandingos are Wangaras

Wangaras in Ghana are Asantes through Nkoranza. However their nomadic history makes it difficult normalizing them into the Ghanaian ethnic structure. The Wangarahene has done a lot trying his best to normalize the group. Like the Hausas, they are nomads. I wish they could enjoy a special dispensation. Because they have been here for centuries. They aided the Asante empire even in some of its wars.
